About Veteran Home Services
We are a local, veteran-owned, family-operated business proudly serving Western North Carolina.
My name is David Etheridge, and I am the General Contractor at Veteran Home Services. I served three deployments in the U.S. Navy as an electrician before earning my Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and obtaining my Home Inspector certification. This combination of military discipline, engineering knowledge, and hands-on building experience allows me to evaluate your home from every angle—structural, functional, and long-term performance.
Building in Western North Carolina’s mountainous terrain requires careful planning, especially when it comes to drainage and protecting your investment. I use my engineering background and General Contractor license to design smart, effective solutions that properly divert water and safeguard your home for years to come.
At Veteran Home Services, we operate with integrity and honesty in every decision we make. We treat your home the same way we would treat our own family’s. We understand the frustration and heartbreak that can come from hiring contractors who cut corners or fail to follow through. That’s why we are fully licensed and insured, and we proudly stand behind our work with a 100% workmanship guarantee.
We’ve reinvested in our company in ways that directly benefit you. By owning our own grading equipment, we keep projects moving efficiently without delays caused by outside scheduling. This ensures we stay involved from start to finish—completing your project on time and on budget.
We know it’s a big step to open your home for remodeling, additions, or to trust someone with building your dream home. It is truly an honor to serve you, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to earn your trust.
